Just thought I would post this here for anyone doing Pennsylvania research--the Historical Society of Pennsylvania has their catalog online (
http://opac.hsp.org). I've typed in several surnames and come up with a treasure trove of information, family histories, bible records, things I wouldn't have found anywhere else.
Then, of course, you have to either come in and look at the materials, or pay them to copy them for you, but still, it's totally worth looking if you're searching a Pennsylvania family.
